Increased business opportunities:
Internet has really helped businesses increase their opportunity's due to the fact they are able to have online shops this is a great opportunity for businesses as it is cheaper for them as they don't have to pay the rent to have a store which is why lots of place like asos and amazon only deal with online as it can make them a lot more money rather than having a shop. It is also a good opportunity for small businesses as they are able to work from home so they are able to make good profits as they don't have big payments every month for powering a shop as it can all be ran from a website.
I agree with you although I must disagree as well.. This is because a lot of people are losing jobs because of people buying most of the stuff online making the people working for the shops now extinct!! they won't be needed anymore and it's all because of the internet websites!

ReplyDeleteEmailing allows businesses to stay in touch with their customers, and are able to answer concerns and to answer any relevant questions which are asked of them. Although this is good, they rely on it heavily which means that if there is a problem, then things will go badly.
ReplyDeleteI agree with this comment, but unemployment is on the rise and these website are the source of the problem. Although this could help the business in the short ruin but in the long haul it wont, as unemployment rises people don't have enough money to spend on the products and so the business will eventually go bankrupt because there is no customers.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Adam and id also like to add that its more convenient for the consumer as well as the business because they are able to shop for necessities from the comfort of their own home. More and more people have easy access to a computer at home and also more people use credit cards nowadays so the whole idea of internet shopping is simpler and a lot easier then going out to shops and purchasing items there.
ReplyDeleteFrom these comments I have learnt that internet shopping is risking peoples jobs in the stores which isn't a good thing, however it is good for the company because it means having to pay less staff as they don't need as many in a shop. In contrast to this, in the long term if more and more people become unemployed it will mean less and less people buying as they have no money. I feel businesses need to be able to work internet shopping and real shopping as like Ellie agreed it is more convenient even if it is taking some peoples jobs.
